The single most useful thing on this page of pizza oven accessories is a shipping fact. Every full-size oven we sell crosses the $750 free shipping line on its own, so anything you add to that order ships free with it: the cover, the door, the tools, the thermometer, the cart. Order the same cover by itself next month and it ships at our flat freight rate, which on a $55 cover is a bad deal for you and an awkward one for us. The second useful thing is fit. Every one of these outdoor pizza oven accessories is made by the oven's manufacturer for a specific oven. A generic cover from a marketplace will not have the chimney cutout or the elastic hem, a generic door will not seal a refractory arch, and a generic cart will not carry a 125-pound countertop oven safely. We do not carry the generic versions, on purpose; if you own one of our outdoor pizza ovens, the accessory that fits it is on this page or it does not exist yet.

Pizza oven accessories for the Halo Versa 16

The Versa has the deepest accessory bench in the store because it is the oven most people carry around. The Halo Versa 16 Cover (HZ-5004) is tailored PVC-coated polyester with a wind-proof elastic hem and a side pocket for a 1-pound propane canister. The Halo Cook + Serve Kit (HZ-3022) is the six-piece first-cook set: bamboo and stainless peels, a mezzaluna cutter, tongs, and a universal handle. The Halo Stone Cleaning Kit (HZ-3023) is a nylon scraper brush and an ash pan contoured to the Versa's rotating stone; cold-stone cleanup only, never on a hot stone. The Halo NG Conversion Kit (HZ-3001-A) converts the Versa from propane to a home natural gas line with a 10-foot quick-connect hose and brass fittings. And the Halo Countertop Cart gives the Halo Versa 16 a collapsible rolling home with a drop-down drawer, 20-pound tank storage, and locking casters.

The HPC pizza oven accessories fit all three refractory ovens unless noted. The HPC Fire Forno Cover (FDP-COVER-FORNO) is custom fit to the cart oven with an elastic hem, UV and rain resistance, and reinforced stitching; the Villa Cover (FDP-COVER-VILLA) is purpose-built for the built-in with its own ventilation. The FDP Door is the accessory that changes what the oven can do: 304 stainless with an analog thermometer, it seals the arch on the Forno, Villa, or Di Napoli so the stored heat roasts, bakes bread, and smokes after the pizza is done. The FDP Accessory Kit is the complete first-cook package: utensil holder, brush, aluminum peel, wooden paddle, two pans, two dough sheets. The FDP Infrared Thermometer reads the deck from -26°F to 986°F with a backlit display and laser targeting; it is the one accessory on this page we would put in every oven order regardless of brand, because the door dial reads the air and the stone is what cooks. The Kucht Napoli Cart (KNC200) turns the Kucht Napoli countertop oven into a freestanding station with enclosed storage, fold-out side tables, and locking casters. Order it with the oven and the two ship together; order it later and it ships on its own.

Six items for the Portuguese brick domes, and the first is not optional. The Authentic Pizza Ovens Cover is the all weather cover the three year warranty requires whenever the oven is not in use: Standard fit for the white dome finishes and the Ventura, XL for the fully clad Stone Finish and Rustic domes. The Traditional Rotisserie Spit seats in the rear cap and turns through the Dutch door port on the Lisboa and Ventura; it does not fit the Pizzaioli, whose door drops down. The Starter Pack is the five piece first cook set the maker recommends: a wooden peel to build on, an aluminum peel to launch, a turner, an ash shovel, and an oven brush.

The chimney parts fit the brick domes and the Maximus ovens alike. The Chimney Extension is a 5.5 inch stainless pipe with slip fit ends in 12 inch or 38 inch lengths, for lifting the flue above a roof line or a pergola beam; the Chimney Cap is the stainless cap with a spark screen that keeps rain out of the flue and embers in. The BBQ Grill Rack is a 15 by 12.6 inch stainless rack on its own legs that stands over the coals or straight on the floor for steaks, vegetables, and anything else that wants grill marks from a wood fire. Three items each, and they do not cross over: the Mobile and the Prime are different sizes and each has its own cover, stand, and spit. For the Maximus Mobile, the Maximus Mobile Cover is the warranty item, the Maximus Mobile Stand puts the 130 pound oven at working height on wheels, and the Maximus Mobile Rotisserie Spit is the spit sized for its chamber. For the Maximus Prime, the Maximus Prime Cover, the Maximus Prime Stand, APO's Bello cart for the 400 pound oven, and the Maximus Prime Rotisserie Spit, which is built to order on a three to four week lead time. Buy the stand with the oven: on its own it is a freight item, and the oven is a two person lift onto it either way.

Pizza oven accessories for the ItaliaForno ovens

Three items, all built by ItaliaForno for its own line. The ItaliaForno Compact Oven Cart is the stainless stand for the Allegro, Bambino and Fornello: 28 by 24 by 37 inches, two shelves, four wheels, with the 20 pound propane tank on the bottom shelf; ItaliaForno lists it for the three compacts and photographs the Famiglia on it, so a Famiglia owner asks us first. The ItaliaForno Grande Pro Duo Oven Cart is the same build sized for the 420 pound Grande Pro Duo and fits nothing else. The ItaliaForno Infrared Laser Thermometer reads the floor up to 752°F, which covers the preheat and everything short of a Neapolitan floor; above that it reads over range, and the HPC gun is the one for the hot ovens. ItaliaForno does not list a cover yet; we point you to one that fits when you order the oven.

What we do not carry yet, and why

There are no Pinnacolo pizza oven accessories on this page because the PREMIO, IBRIDO, and L'ARGILLA ship with a full kit in the crate; the Pinnacolo ovens pages list what is included. We do not yet carry manufacturer accessories for Tuscan Chef or Kokomo, and we would rather say so than sell you a generic cover that does not fit a 46-inch dual chamber oven. The ItaliaForno ovens have no fitted cover from the brand yet, and a cover is a condition of their warranty; ask us when you order and we will point you to one that fits. The Four Pizza Oven Accessories Every First Cook Needs

Strip the list of pizza oven tools to what actually gets used and it is short. A launching peel to get the pizza in and a turning peel or spinner to rotate it; the Halo and HPC kits cover both. An infrared thermometer, because the dial in the door reads the air near the dome and the stone under your pizza is a different number; our post on pizza oven temperature explains why that gap ruins more first pizzas than anything else. A deck brush for between pizzas. And a fitted pizza oven cover, the least glamorous line on the invoice and the one that protects the burner, the igniter, and the finish from the weather that ages ovens fastest. Everything past those four is a preference, not a requirement.

The pizza oven door is the one upgrade that changes what a wood fired or hybrid oven can do rather than how easily it does it. Seal the arch after the pizzas and the stored heat roasts a chicken, bakes bread, or smokes a rack of ribs on the fire you already built. If you own a Pinnacolo, you already have the kit; check the crate before you buy a peel. If you own an Authentic Pizza Ovens dome or Maximus, the cover is a warranty condition, not an option, and so is a cover on an ItaliaForno oven, which is the one we do not have from the brand yet. If you own a Tuscan Chef or a Kokomo, we do not have a manufacturer cover or tool set for you yet, and a generic one is not something we will sell you as if it fits.
