Why Serious Outdoor Cooks Choose Pinnacolo
Pinnacolo is the outdoor pizza oven line from Fire One Up, and the entire brand is built around one philosophy: nobody should unbox a two thousand dollar oven and discover they still need three hundred dollars of tools before they can cook. Every Pinnacolo oven includes a complete accessory package as standard equipment, typically a pizza peel or three, a wire bristle cleaning broom, a rocker cutter, an infrared thermometer, high temperature gloves, a fire separator, an apron, and a fitted weatherproof cover. Most competing ovens at this level sell every one of those pieces separately.
The construction philosophy matches. Pinnacolo domes are double wall insulated so they reach temperature efficiently and hold it steadily across a long session, cooking surfaces are wall to wall cordierite stone chosen for aggressive bottom heat and resistance to thermal shock, and every oven is designed to live outdoors year round rather than being wheeled into a garage each winter. The gas fired models carry CSA certification, meaning they have been independently tested to safety and performance standards rather than relying on manufacturer claims alone. Each oven is backed by a one year manufacturer warranty, and as an authorized dealer, every Pinnacolo we ship carries full warranty coverage.
Compare the Pinnacolo Lineup
All three Pinnacolo ovens share the same DNA: serious insulation, cordierite cooking surfaces, included accessory kits, and freestanding carts with locking casters. Where they differ is fuel, and fuel is the decision that matters most. Here is the honest side by side.
| Model | Fuel | Cooking Surface | Best For | Price Tier |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PREMIO (PPO-1-02) | Wood fired only | 745 sq. in. cordierite, fits two pizzas | Live fire purists who cook for the flavor and the ritual | ~$2,500 |
| IBRIDO (PPO-1-03) | Wood or propane, true hybrid | 745 sq. in. cordierite, fits two pizzas | Cooks who want wood fire weekends and gas convenience on weeknights | ~$3,000 |
| L'ARGILLA (PPO-8-08) | Propane gas, natural gas convertible | 26.5 inch round thermal clay chamber | Gas first cooks who want traditional dome character and the fastest preheat | ~$3,500 |

Which Pinnacolo Is Right for You
Choose the PREMIO if wood fire is the whole point
The Pinnacolo PREMIO is the value pick of the lineup and the purist's pick at the same time, which almost never happens. It is wood only, climbs to 1,000 degrees, and its 745 square inches of cordierite comfortably run two pizzas at once. If the crackle, the smoke, and the hands on fire management are why you want an outdoor oven in the first place, nothing in this lineup does it better for less. It also lives in our wood fired collection alongside every other live fire oven we carry. Be honest with yourself about one thing first: wood mode means roughly an hour of preheat every session. If that hour sounds like a dealbreaker on a Tuesday, keep reading.
Choose the IBRIDO if you refuse to pick a side
The Pinnacolo IBRIDO is the same 745 square inch cooking chamber as the PREMIO with a 35,000 BTU rear mounted propane burner and electronic ignition added, so it burns real hardwood when you have the evening and switches to gas when you have thirty minutes. It is CSA certified and the most flexible oven Pinnacolo makes. One honest limitation: it is propane only with no natural gas conversion, so if your outdoor kitchen runs on a plumbed NG line, this is not your oven and the L'ARGILLA or our hybrid collection will serve you better.
Choose the L'ARGILLA if gas is your fuel and character still matters
The Pinnacolo L'ARGILLA is the outlier of the family: a thermal clay dome shaped after the igloo ovens of Pompeii, driven by a 50,000 BTU burner that pushes the stone past 600 degrees in about ten minutes, the fastest preheat in the lineup by a wide margin. It is propane out of the box and convertible to natural gas, which makes it the Pinnacolo for permanent outdoor kitchens. At roughly 238 pounds it is also the most substantial, and the clay mass is exactly why it cooks with the even, enveloping heat that thin metal gas ovens cannot match. It anchors our gas pizza oven collection for good reason.
Shipping, Warranty, and Buying From Crustify
Every Pinnacolo oven ships free from Crustify. These are large freight items, so expect curbside delivery by liftgate truck rather than a parcel van: the driver lowers the crate to the ground at your curb or driveway, and we recommend inspecting the packaging before signing so any shipping damage is documented on the spot. Each oven carries Pinnacolo's one year manufacturer warranty, fully valid because we are an authorized dealer, and our price match guarantee means you never pay more here than at any other authorized dealer. Financing is available at checkout, and if you want a human read on which model fits your setup, the chat on this page and every call go straight to the owner's personal phone at 877-281-OVEN (6836). No AI, no call center, real answers typically the same day.
