Description

Most outdoor gas pizza ovens make a straightforward trade. You get the convenience of a gas burner and give up the visual drama and heat character of a dome-shaped oven built from traditional materials. The Pinnacolo L'ARGILLA refuses that trade.

This is the only oven in the Pinnacolo lineup built with a thermal clay exterior, a composite clay and cement construction that replicates the igloo profile of ancient Pompeii ovens not just in appearance but in the way it actually performs. The dome shape is not decorative. It is functional. The curved interior geometry wraps heat around whatever is cooking from every angle simultaneously, creating an enveloping thermal environment that flat-ceiling ovens and barrel-shaped competitors simply cannot match. When you are cooking pizza in the L'ARGILLA, the heat is working on the top and sides of your food at the same time as the cordierite stone beneath it, which is how authentic Neapolitan pizza develops its characteristic blistered top and structured crispy base together.

The power source is a 50,000 BTU rear-mounted gas burner with a simple press and turn mechanical ignition. There is nothing complicated about starting this oven, no lighter, no kindling, no waiting for wood to catch. Press, turn, and within ten minutes your cordierite cooking surface is above 600°F and ready to work. The rear mounting keeps the burner out of your way during cooking and loading, which is a thoughtful detail that makes a real practical difference when you are launching and retrieving pizzas quickly.

Gas power also means something important for versatility. Because you are not managing a wood fire, temperature control is precise and repeatable. You can push the oven to its 800°F plus peak temperature for fast Neapolitan-style pizza with charred leopard spotting on the crust, or dial it back for slower roasting, bread baking, and searing where sustained moderate heat produces better results than extreme temperatures. The oven handles both modes equally well.

The 26.5 inch diameter interior gives you 3.83 square feet of cooking space, enough to run two full-size pizzas simultaneously or give you the room to work with a larger cast iron, a whole bird, or a wide baking vessel. The outside of the oven stays safe to touch during operation, which matters when you have guests nearby or children around.

The cart is stainless steel with a lower rack sized for propane tank storage, keeping your fuel supply tucked neatly underneath rather than sitting loose beside the oven. Four locking casters give you full mobility to position the oven exactly where you want it on your patio or outdoor kitchen space, and lock it down once it is there. A stainless door visor above the opening keeps the exterior cleaner during high heat sessions, and the built-in fixed thermometer gives you a continuous read on ambient oven temperature without opening the door.

Propane ready out of the box, the L'ARGILLA can also be converted to natural gas with a separately available conversion kit, giving you the flexibility to connect to a fixed gas line if that suits your setup better.

Every L'ARGILLA ships with a complete accessory kit valued at over $500 included in the purchase price. You are not buying a bare oven and sourcing tools separately. Everything you need to cook from day one is in the box.

CSA approved and backed by a 1-year limited warranty, the L'ARGILLA is the oven for the buyer who wants genuine gas-powered performance wrapped in the kind of design that looks like it belongs in a serious outdoor kitchen, not a big box store patio display.
