PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Description
Most outdoor kitchen pizza ovens make you accept one of two compromises. You either get a built-in unit that installs cleanly but gives you a lightweight oven that cannot hold professional cooking temperatures, or you get a heavy commercial-grade oven that turns installation into a construction project. The HPC Fire Villa Series was engineered to eliminate both compromises at the same time.
The Villa is the lightest authentic dual-fuel brick oven built for permanent outdoor kitchen installation on the market, coming in at approximately 400 pounds total across the hearth and oven components. That weight figure matters because the Villa achieves it without sacrificing the 2-inch thick refractory dome that is responsible for its cooking performance. Two-inch refractory walls withstand temperatures up to 2,400°F internally, reach 1,000°F cooking temperature, and retain heat long enough to run a full pizza session without constant fire management. The Villa does not ask you to trade weight savings for performance. It delivers both.
Installation is genuinely straightforward by the standards of a permanent built-in outdoor kitchen oven. Three steps complete the process. The insulated hearth, approximately 200 pounds, installs directly into your countertop opening and acts as both the cooking foundation and a thermal jacket that protects surrounding combustible materials from heat damage. The four hearth sections slide into the custom stainless steel flange that defines the oven's countertop footprint. Then the refractory oven dome, approximately 195 pounds, sets on top. Two people can complete a full installation in approximately 30 minutes. The counter must be at least 35 inches deep to accommodate the oven's profile.

The Villa's cooking system is identical in principle to the Forno Series cart oven but optimized for permanent kitchen integration. A left-side gas burner runs on liquid propane or natural gas and uses the same 3V electronic flame-sensing auto ignition that makes gas starts safe, fast, and reliable without requiring an electrical connection. Place hardwood on the burner, ignite it, and the gas assists the fire to cooking temperature in approximately 20 minutes, which HPC notes is about 40 minutes faster than a traditional wood-fired approach. When time is short, skip the wood entirely and run on gas alone. When flavor is the priority, let the wood take over once it is established and shut the gas off. The dual-fuel system gives you both options in a single permanent installation.
The cooking geometry is the Villa's real differentiator as a built-in oven. The 870 square inch hearth surface accommodates two pizzas simultaneously. The high-hood dome design creates a specific airflow pattern that circulates heat 360 degrees around whatever is cooking, wrapping it in radiant, convective, and conductive heat simultaneously. That triple-heat-mode cooking is what produces the blistered crust and evenly melted top that a Neapolitan pizza requires, and it is what makes the Villa capable of smoking, roasting, baking, and searing with equal effectiveness beyond pizza sessions.
The stackless front ventilation system is a deliberate design choice. Rather than a chimney protruding from the oven roof and breaking the clean sightline of a finished outdoor kitchen, the Villa vents through the front stainless steel flange. Airflow is managed through this integrated vent design, which keeps heat inside the dome more efficiently and gives the installed oven a finished, architectural appearance rather than an industrial one.
The exterior is the same handcrafted glass mosaic tile finish available on the Forno cart oven, applied over the refractory dome with a proprietary high-temperature mortaring formula that bonds through repeated extreme heat cycling. Six standard colors are available, and custom tile options can be ordered through American Glass Mosaics for buyers with specific outdoor kitchen design requirements. Every oven is individually handcrafted, meaning the tile work on each Villa is unique.
The stainless steel door is sold separately and is worth adding for low-and-slow smoke sessions where keeping heat contained over extended periods matters. The FDP-ACCESSORY-KIT is also available separately and provides everything needed to start cooking immediately after installation.
Made in the USA by HPC Fire Inspired and backed by a 2-year warranty on materials and workmanship. Note that minor hairline cracks under one eighth of an inch in the refractory dome are normal under thermal cycling and are standard for all refractory oven construction.

Your Questions Answered Before You Buy
The HPC Fire Villa Series FDP-VILLA occupies a specific and valuable position in the outdoor pizza oven market that most buyers do not fully understand until they research it carefully. It is not a countertop oven that happens to look built-in. It is a permanent outdoor kitchen installation built around the same 2-inch refractory dome technology that makes the Forno cart oven one of the most technically capable pizza ovens available, packaged specifically for buyers who are designing or upgrading a serious outdoor kitchen and want a pizza oven that integrates architecturally rather than sitting on top of a counter.
At approximately 400 pounds total installed weight it is also the lightest authentic dual-fuel brick oven built for permanent installation on the market, which matters enormously when countertop structural capacity and installation logistics are part of the planning conversation. Buyers researching the Villa tend to have very specific questions about counter depth requirements, installation steps, fuel options, and how it compares to the Forno cart version. We have answered the most common ones honestly and directly so you can plan and buy with full confidence. If something is not covered below our team is here to help.
